We have built an official GoFundMe page for the Keswick Victorian Fayre.
The Keswick Victorian Fayre is a community event run entirely by dedicated local volunteers from Keswick and Bassenthwaite Rotary Clubs, the Lions Club, and independent residents. We organise this annual festive gathering in the Keswick Market Place to attract visitors to our town and provide a platform for local charities to raise funds and awareness.
Along with providing free entertainment for the whole family, the Fayre creates the opportunity for local charities and good causes to run stalls and raise funds for their operations. It serves as a major community hub and a crucial fundraising opportunity for those who need it most in our area.
The Challenge We Face
Organising an event of this scale costs approximately £8,000 each year. We have previously relied on the generous sponsorship of local businesses to help cover these expenses. Due to a recent drop in business sponsorships alongside rising overall costs, the Fayre is facing a severe financial shortfall.
There is a very real risk that this year's event will be our last.
How You Can Help
We are reaching out to the public for the support needed to fund this year's Fayre and to secure its future for years to come. Your donation will go directly towards the £8,000 required for event logistics, essential infrastructure, and community entertainment.
By contributing today, you are protecting a beloved Keswick tradition and ensuring that our local charities do not lose one of their most important platforms.
Please donate whatever you can spare and share this page with your friends, family, and neighbours. Thank you for your generosity and for keeping the Keswick Victorian Fayre alive.
